Hannah Sawtell's illustrations observe the relationship between locality and community, where built and natural environments are given meaning by the people who use and live in them. Hannah seeks to celebrate the fleeting moments in time that take place in these contexts through her artwork. Hannah experiments with combinations of processes such as: drawing, printing, stencil, paper cutting and photography, using colour to add definition to elements of the composition, with an appreciation of the line of the pen remaining intact. Limited edition prints and original artworks are available to purchase in mounted and framed formats. Commissions are also undertaken.
