BEA ROBERTS
Nottingham artist, Bea Roberts’ mixed media artworks are a playful merging of techniques and ideas and she creates enchanting contemporary paintings, which have a whimsical naivety. Working intuitively and spontaneously, she uses collagraph printing, painting, drawing and collage, to create her quirky, offbeat artworks, which predominantly feature people and animals.
Bea has participated in both group and solo shows and juried exhibitions, and her work hangs in private collections all over the world. |
Her artwork has been used in TV and film productions, including Channel 4's Cucumber, feature film 'The Ninth Life Of Louis Drax', starring Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul, and Fifty Shades of Grey's Jamie Dornan, and a German TV drama, The Watcher.
Bea, who is originally from Yorkshire has had a passionate interest in drawing and painting since childhood. After graduating from Nottingham Trent University, Bea has worked as a freelance artist and designer. |
